Bandung Wedding || Rehana & Mario

The sun was getting warmer that morning. Yet the breeze of beautiful Bandung uphill area greeted Rehana & Mario’s big day gracefully. As I slowly walked to Padma Hotel & Resorts for the couple’s preparation from my hotel, all memories from this city faded into my mind. It made a perfect time for reminiscing. I spent 4 years living there. It was soul-changing.

Rehana (or Rere as I call her) met Mario through her brother. Their introduction leaves a great impression to each other. And here they are, choosing to sail through life’s journey together. The union was so special. Mario was over the moon to finally marry his soulmate. He even casually said to Rere in the hotel, “Sayang, I’m your geenie lah” while he put the Pakistani Groom Traditional Cap. The family joined this union all the way from Holland, Jakarta, Tasikmalaya and other countries to attend and spend a good celebration of the family affair that seemed have no end.

The one thing that touched me as a photographer was when Rere’s brother sheds a tear at their holy matrimony as you will see in this set. She is everything to him as he is to her, the one that match-made the union. Thank you for having us Rere & Mario, all the best for your journey ahead!
