The Westin Jakarta || Konda & Guntur

I have come to know Konda for a brief moment, she came to our booth at The Bridestory Fair and we exchanged emails and whatsapp after. I met her again at the technical meeting, Konda was late, due to conducting a surgery. Yes, she is a surgeon. Guntur and Konda are both from med school.

I remember Konda hit me up in the middle of the night ‘Mbaaaaaaa, maaf telat balas, aku habis operasi’. I was ‘no way I am more important than the surgery. People’s life is the most important’. And as I photographed their wedding day and encountered their family, I am proud that I can be of service to these heroes. Aside of being really hooked with their schedules and weddings, they managed to be so much fun to be around with. And I truly appreciate their trust and appreciation towards our art.

Guntur on the other hand, aside of being a doctor, he draws comics and his illustration is so amazing that I wish to have 1% of his skill. Something so far from happening.

Being a wedding photographer means that I get to connect with a lot of people from different areas of life. And I am just (mind my word) DAMN proud of having this as my job. I get to pursue creative satisfaction and connect with beautiful hearts years in and out.

(PS: Why do we keep seeing a bunch of groomsmen win the bouquet toast, have women lost interest in competing at this moment? LMAO, we kid. We love seeing how aggressive bunch of suited men can go for the bouquet.)
